PALMER, PA — Police arrested a man Tuesday after a reported disturbance at a Home Depot where an individual was punched in the face.
Palmer Township Police were dispatched by county control to the store at 721 S. 25th Street at approximately 11 a.m. June 16 for a report of a disturbance.
Upon arrival, witnesses directed officers to the male suspect in the parking lot.
Luke Austin Sheriff, 29, of Pennsylvania, was located and taken into custody.
Sheriff was transported to the Palmer Township Police Department for processing.
He was charged with simple assault and harassment.
Sheriff was arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Hutnik and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $10,000 bail.
