DRACUT, MA — Two women suffered minor injuries when a car crashed through a guardrail on Lakeview Avenue and fell about 25 feet into the shallow waters of Beaver Brook early Thursday morning.
Dracut police and firefighters were called at about 2:10 a.m. Thursday to Lakeview Avenue near Primrose Hill Road for a report of a vehicle that had gone off the road.
Authorities said the vehicle crashed through a guardrail and landed in Beaver Brook.
Two women in the vehicle were able to get out before emergency crews arrived, police said.
Both women were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, according to authorities.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
