HAMPTON, NH — A Rochester woman faces multiple charges after a police pursuit that ended in Auburn, according to New Hampshire State Police.

State troopers assigned to the Troop A barracks were notified at 7:43 a.m. Thursday, June 11, that the driver of a red Toyota Corolla had failed to stop for local police on Route 101 in Hampton, police said.

Troopers located the vehicle traveling westbound on Route 101 in Hampton and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver disregarded the trooper’s signals and a pursuit began, police said.

The pursuit continued into Auburn, where the driver was involved in a minor crash with another motorist and kept fleeing, police said.

Tire deflation devices were deployed, and the vehicle came to a stop on Hooksett Road, where the driver, Kathleen Feeney, 45, of Rochester, was taken into custody, police said.

Feeney was charged with felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor counts of disobeying a police officer, conduct after an accident and criminal mischief, and a violation-level reckless operation charge, police said.

She was held on preventive detention at the Rockingham County jail pending arraignment Friday, June 12, in Hampton District Court, police said.

Members of Troop A were assisted by additional troopers assigned to the Troop B and Troop D barracks, as well as the Hampton, Raymond and Auburn police departments and the Auburn Fire Department, police said.
