Two-vehicle crash reported in Rupert

RUPERT, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at 9:52 a.m. Wednesday on VT Route 153 near Hebron Crossing.

Investigators said Sudawan Gordy, 56, of Rupert entered VT Route 153 from Hebron Crossing and failed to yield to Abraham Miller, 25, of Buskirk, who was traveling north on VT Route 153.

Police said Gordy’s 2020 Subaru Forester collided with the driver’s side of Miller’s 2007 Oshkosh cement truck.

No injuries were reported.

Police said Gordy was wearing a seat belt and her vehicle sustained significant front-end damage.

Miller was also wearing a seat belt, and his vehicle sustained minor damage.

The crash occurred in clear weather on dry roads.

The Rupert Fire Department assisted Vermont State Police.
