WARRINGTON, PA — Police arrested a Philadelphia man in connection with a retail theft at a Walmart store in Warrington.
According to Warrington Police, officers responded to the Walmart at 299 Valley Gate Drive on May 6 after receiving a report of a theft.
Store loss prevention personnel told officers a man selected four boxes of Legos valued at $264.89 and placed them in an empty mattress topper box worth $26.48.
The man proceeded to checkout and paid only for the mattress topper using his debit card.
The suspect was identified as Dikang Zhao, 23, of Philadelphia.
Police said Zhao turned himself in on June 9, where he was processed and released.
He faces charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property.
