READING, PA — Authorities are searching for a man wanted in connection with a 2023 homicide.
Ansari Jalal, 21, of Reading, is wanted on charges of criminal homicide, kidnapping and robbery, according to the Berks County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 28, 2023, Jalal allegedly exited a silver vehicle and approached a victim near the intersection of 10th and Greenwich Streets.
Jalal and another suspect allegedly forced the victim into the vehicle against his will, authorities said.
The victim was later found deceased from multiple gunshot wounds outside the city.
Investigators determined that Jalal and other suspects robbed the victim of his cell phones and disposed of his clothing.
Jalal is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds.
