BETHEL, CT — A 58-year-old man was removed from Bethel High School property after telling school resource officers he was there to meet his fans.

Chaudhry Muhammad Shouq was stopped by several school resource officers at about 12:30 p.m. on May 21, 2026, according to a news release from the Bethel Police Department.

Shouq told officers he was “famous on tiktok” and was at the school to meet “some of his fans,” police said.

Officers told Shouq that coming to school grounds to interact with juveniles he was not the parent or guardian of was not allowed.

He was told to leave and warned that if he returns to any Bethel school property, he would be subject to arrest.

Shouq left without further incident.

Police said they do not believe Shouq to be dangerous.
