Missing juvenile sought in Canton

CANTON, MA — Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl last seen Wednesday.

Nyara Jade Goffigan-Mitchell was last seen May 20 at 735 Randolph Street in Canton, according to the Canton Police Department.

Goffigan-Mitchell is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing between 180 and 215 pounds with black hair.

She has several ear piercings, nose rings on each nostril and a septum piercing.

Police said she is known to frequent Downtown Crossing, Dudley Station, and the Myopia Street and West Street area in Hyde Park, as well as Forest Street, Harold Parkway, Roxbury, Roslindale and South Bay areas.

She may be in contact with Teon Tydra Hunte, 22, according to police.

There is an active restraining order with Hunte as the defendant and Goffigan-Mitchell as the plaintiff on behalf of the Department of Children and Families.
