STROUD TOWNSHIP, PA — Stroud Area Regional police were dispatched to Weis Market at 1070 N. Ninth St. at 10:39 a.m. May 16 to investigate a reported retail theft involving a male suspect.
Police said loss prevention reported that on two separate occasions, April 21 and May 13, the suspect entered the store, selected items throughout the business and then went to the checkout aisle.
According to police, the suspect failed to scan the selected items and left the store without paying for the merchandise on both occasions.
Police asked anyone with information about the suspect’s identity to submit a tip.
