GILFORD, NH — A Nashua woman has been indicted on felony charges in connection with the drowning death of a 17-year-old boy at Lake Winnipesaukee last June.
Buffy Ann Doyle, 50, of Nashua, was indicted April 17 by a Belknap County grand jury on charges of felony negligent homicide, two counts of witness tampering and falsifying physical evidence, according to New Hampshire State Police.
The teen died June 20 at Lake Winnipesaukee.
According to the indictments, Doyle is alleged to have caused the teen’s death by acting negligently when she provided the teen with alcohol and allowed them to enter Lake Winnipesaukee while knowing the teen was intoxicated.
Doyle waived arraignment on the charges, which had been scheduled for Tuesday in Belknap County Superior Court.
She has entered a not guilty plea to all four charges and was released on personal recognizance.
Doyle is scheduled to appear in court June 26.
