MIDDLETOWN, CT — A shelter in place order has been lifted for the areas of Westlake Drive and East Street, according to the Middletown Police Department.
The suspect remains at large and there will continue to be a heavy police presence in the areas of Atkins Street and Industrial Park as officers actively investigate and search the area.
Residents are reminded to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.
Police are warning residents not to approach or attempt to make contact with the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
