ROUSES POINT, NY — Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a local man on a bench warrant May 11, 2026 at 1:48 p.m.
Robert W. Syman, 28, of Rouses Point, was taken into custody on a bench warrant issued by Plattsburgh City Court in April 2026.
Authorities allege Syman failed to appear at a scheduled court date.
Syman was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court and remanded to the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
Bail was set at $1,000 cash, $2,000 insurance company bail bond, and $10,000 partially secured surety bond.
