PENN YAN, NY — Authorities responded to a structure fire on East Bluff Drive on Friday morning.
Yates County Sheriff’s Office deputies, along with Branchport Fire, Benton Fire, the Office of Emergency Management and Penn Yan ambulance, were dispatched to 9675 E Bluff Dr. at 8:41 a.m.
Upon arrival, a shed on the north side of the property was engulfed by smoke.
The fire was contained to the inside of the shed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
