WEATHERSFIELD, VT — A 67-year-old man was arrested on a second DUI charge Saturday evening.
Michael Builder, of Weathersfield, was taken into custody at approximately 5:30 p.m. on May 16, 2026, in the area of Blue Sky Avenue.
Deputy Derek Beagle of the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department responded after being alerted to a possible impaired operator.
During the investigation, Beagle observed multiple indicators of impairment.
Builder was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests at the scene.
Based on the observations and Builder’s performance on the tests, he was placed under arrest for operating under the influence.
Builder was transported to Woodstock Police Department for processing and released with a citation.
He is scheduled to appear in Windsor criminal court on June 30, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
