FAYSTON, VT — A transient man faces voyeurism and stalking charges after a hidden cell phone was found recording inside a bedroom at a residence on Dogwood Road.
Vermont State Police received a report at approximately 4:44 p.m. July 5 that an unknown cell phone was discovered hidden inside a bedroom and was actively recording.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks investigated and obtained a search warrant allowing the Technology Investigation Unit to search the cell phone.
The Technology Investigation Unit searched the cell phone and determined it belonged to Dakota Griswold, 29, of Waterbury.
Griswold was located May 14, 2026, and issued a criminal citation for voyeurism and stalking.
Griswold is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Washington County, Criminal Division on July 9, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. to answer the charges.
