PORTVILLE, NY — Members of the Southern Tier Regional Task Force executed a search warrant at 32 South Main St. on May 11, 2026 at 3:10 p.m.
Task force members were assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, Cattaraugus County Detective Bureau, Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and Portville Police Department.
Investigation into the residence revealed it was being used for the sale of illegal narcotics.
Upon execution of the search warrant, a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, paraphernalia and approximately two ounces of crystal methamphetamine were found.
Richard Wall, 56, of Portville was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
Wall was arraigned in the Town of Portville Court and is being held without bail.
