Man arrested on trespass charge in Oxford

OXFORD, PA — Police arrested a man on trespassing and drug charges after he was found at an apartment complex from which he had been previously banned.

Anthony Laughman, 26, of Peach Bottom, was taken into custody at 3:30 p.m. May 6 at Whitehall Acres Apartment, 134 Whitehall Way.

Officers confirmed Laughman had been previously trespassed from the property.

A search incident to arrest located a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Police also confirmed Laughman had an active criminal arrest warrant from the East Lampeter Township Police Department, Lancaster County, for drug possession.

Laughman was transported to the Oxford Police Department for processing and was turned over to constables for transport to Chester County Prison.

He was arraigned and a $5,000 unsecured bail was issued.

A detainer has been filed by Lancaster County.

Laughman was charged with criminal trespass, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 9 at the Oxford District Court.
