JAMESTOWN, NY — A 34-year-old man was arrested following a domestic incident on May 6, 2026.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon responded to a report of a past domestic incident at approximately 11:30 p.m.
Police determined that Josean D. Martinez had entered the victim’s residence by kicking in a side door, damaging property and engaging in a physical altercation.
Martinez was located at a nearby residence and was taken into custody without further incident.
Martinez is being charged with aggravated criminal contempt, burglary in the second degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, assault in the third degree, criminal obstruction of breathing and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He was held in the Jamestown City Jail pending his arraignment.
