Lycoming Regional Officers responded to a domestic dispute in progress at 286 Hill Street at approximately 4:59 p.m.

Officers made contact with Steven Ray Barner Jr., of Jersey Shore, and the victim, his girlfriend.

EMS was requested, and the victim was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment of her injuries.

Barner was arrested for domestic related simple assault and harassment.

He was processed and arraigned before a Magisterial District Judge.

Barner was committed to Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
