EAST STROUDSBURG, PA — Police are seeking a man accused of assaulting hospital staff and a security officer at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono.
Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the hospital at 3:21 a.m. on April 2, 2026, for a report of a man fighting with staff.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with a security guard who identified Kevin Michael Madea, 25, as the man who assaulted a security guard and an emergency department doctor.
Police reviewed video footage that corroborated the account.
Madea is described as a white man standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
He faces charges including two counts of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and harassment by physical contact.
A felony arrest warrant was issued May 1, 2026.
