Burglary investigated in New Hope

NEW HOPE, PA — Police are investigating a burglary at a restaurant on South Main Street.

The incident occurred May 5, 2026, at approximately 11:12 p.m., according to the New Hope Borough Police Department.

During the incident, the suspect entered the business and attempted to open the cash register.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’11” to 6’2″ tall, believed to be in his 20s to 30s, with a slim build and light facial hair.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a Boothbay Harbor, Maine T-shirt, a light-colored hat, light-colored Asics sneakers, and jogger-style sweatpants.
