PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl.
Ayanna Collins was last seen at approximately 3:08 p.m. on April 30 in the 1500 block of North 15th Street.
She was officially reported missing in the early hours of May 1 after she failed to return home.
Investigators describe Collins, of Philadelphia, as a Black female, 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing between 95 and 100 pounds.
She has a medium complexion, brown eyes, and long, curly black hair.
At the time of her disappearance, she was believed to be wearing an abaya and potentially a hijab.
Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093 or dial 911.
