HAMPTONBURGH, NY — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision in the town.
At approximately 1:40 p.m. on May 4, 2026, members of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a multi-vehicle collision involving two SUVs and a motorcycle on County Route 51 and County Route 8.
The collision resulted in one fatality.
The investigation is ongoing, and more details will be released as they become available.
