HORSEHEADS, NY — A 37-year-old man was arrested Friday on felony and misdemeanor charges for violating an order of protection.
Ryken G. Ruuspakka, of Horseheads, was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, and stalking in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Ruuspakka was arraigned and remanded to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of bail.
VETERAN, NY — A 39-year-old man was arrested Friday following a disturbance.
Matthew P. Bixby, of Veteran, was charged with harassment in the second degree, a violation.
Bixby was arraigned by Veteran Town Court, and an order of protection was issued.
He was released.
SOUTHPORT, NY — A 38-year-old man was arrested Saturday on a drug charge following a traffic stop.
Kevin A. Derr, of Elmira, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Derr was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Southport Town Court at a later date.
