BEDMINSTER, PA — A 46-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on charges of fleeing from police following an April incident on Dublin Pike.
Christopher James Moyer, of Bedminster, was taken into custody by the Bedminster Township Police Department on April 29.
Police were notified of a speeding and reckless driver on Dublin Pike, also known as Route 313, at 12:42 p.m. on April 18, according to authorities.
Bucks County Dispatch and a passing motorist reported the vehicle to police.
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the driver failed to yield and fled from police, authorities said.
An investigation identified Moyer as the operator of the vehicle.
Hilltown Township Police Department assisted Bedminster police during the initial incident.
Buckingham and Richland Township police departments assisted in the subsequent investigation.
Moyer was charged with one count of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, a misdemeanor, and one count of duty of driver on approach of emergency vehicle, a summary offense.
A warrant was issued April 27 by Magisterial District Judge Gambardella.
Bail was set at 10 percent of $25,000 at the time Moyer was incarcerated on another matter.
Moyer was arraigned April 29.
