NORTHFIELD, NJ — A juvenile was injured in a motor vehicle accident at baseball and softball fields on Burton Avenue on May 2, 2026.
The Northfield Police Department responded to 1675 Burton Avenue at approximately 1:09 p.m. for the incident involving a child.
The accident occurred while a vehicle was making a delivery to the baseball and softball snack bar.
The child sustained a leg injury and was treated on scene by EMS, paramedics and the Northfield Fire Department.
The juvenile was transported via helicopter to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation.
