EXETER, RI — A 51-year-old woman was arrested on a trespassing charge Saturday afternoon at Split Rock Trailer Park.
Troopers from the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Tammy Silva, of Exeter, at 2:09 p.m. on May 3, 2026, for willful trespass.
Troopers responded to the trailer park for reports of an unwanted party.
Silva was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
She was released with a future Fourth Division District Court date.
In a separate incident Saturday, troopers arrested a 65-year-old man on a warrant at 3:50 p.m.
Gary Tavares, of Richmond, was arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant on a charge of vandalism/malicious injury to property.
The charge originated from the Rhode Island State Police Gaming Enforcement Unit.
Tavares responded to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, where he was taken into custody and processed.
He was arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
