LINCOLN, RI — Two men were arrested on street racing and reckless driving charges following incidents on Route 146 South.
At 12:06 a.m., troopers arrested Adam Gomez, 20, of Whitinsville, Massachusetts, for street racing and reckless driving.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 South.
Gomez was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third District Court date.
At 2 a.m., troopers arrested Alexander Nuay, 19, of Cumberland, for street racing and reckless driving.
The arrest was the result of an investigation and Nuay being located at his residence.
Nuay was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third District Court date.
