LEBANON, NH — Police arrested a Vermont woman after responding to a report of a disabled vehicle blocking traffic on May 1.
Officers responded at approximately 6:50 a.m. to Plainfield Road and Airport Road for a report of a disabled vehicle blocking traffic.
The incident was associated with a Vermont State Police alert involving a reported crash and domestic assault that had just occurred in Vermont.
Vermont authorities attempted to stop the vehicle, which failed to stop and continued into New Hampshire.
Officers located the parties involved, one of which was identified as Alyssa Lamadeleine, 31, of Orleans, Vermont.
Lamadeleine resisted officers during the encounter and was taken into custody.
She was found to be in possession of controlled substances prescription drugs without a prescription and drug paraphernalia.
Lamadeleine was charged with possession of a controlled drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
She was held on $1,000 cash bail and transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections, pending arraignment in Lebanon District Court.
In a separate incident on April 30, officers responded at approximately 3:30 p.m. to a report of a female passed out in a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot.
The vehicle left the scene prior to officers’ arrival but was later located nearby.
The operator, Kelsey Vanderley, 29, of Burlington, Vermont, was found to be impaired.
During the investigation, officers located controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
Vanderley was charged with driving under the influence, felony possession of a controlled drug for crack cocaine, felony possession of a controlled drug for methamphetamine, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was later released on personal recognizance bail and issued a summons to appear in Lebanon District Court on June 29.
Also on April 30, Lebanon Police responded at approximately 9:30 p.m. to a motor vehicle rollover on South Main Street near Seminary Hill Road.
The operator, Richard Harrelson, 59, of White River Junction, Vermont, was located inside the vehicle.
Following an on-scene investigation, officers observed signs of impairment.
Harrelson was taken into custody after performing field sobriety tests.
A subsequent search resulted in the discovery of a quantity of suspected cocaine.
Harrelson was charged with driving under the influence, reckless operation, lane control violation, felony possession of a controlled drug for cocaine and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle.
He was later released on personal recognizance bail and issued a summons to appear in Lebanon District Court on June 29.
