HORNELL, NY — A 54-year-old man was arrested in connection with the theft of a yard statue.
Ramon C. Alomar, of Hornell, was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
Police responded to N. Church Street on April 17, 2026, for a reported theft of a yard statue.
An investigation revealed that Alomar stole the statue, according to police.
Alomar was located and arrested without incident on April 27, 2026.
He was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Hornell City Court at a later date.
Additional charges are pending.
