WILTON, NY — A man was arrested Friday on charges including felony criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child.
Keith J. LaDuke, 37, of Beekmantown, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant issued by Wilton Town Court.
LaDuke is charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, both class A misdemeanors.
He is accused of violating an order of protection after having previously been convicted of criminal contempt within the preceding five years.
LaDuke is also charged with applying pressure to the throat or neck of a victim who was a minor with intent to impede their normal breathing or blood circulation.
The incident reportedly occurred Aug. 11 on Maple Avenue in Wilton.
LaDuke was arraigned before Judge David R. Towne in Wilton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
