NEWARK, NJ — Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help identifying a suspect who took power tools from a victim’s vehicle on July 12.
The victim parked his vehicle, a 2006 Nissan Frontier, at approximately 7 p.m. on July 11 on Garden Street in the Ironbound.
When he returned the next day, July 12, the passenger side window of his vehicle was shattered.
The suspect was captured on surveillance video entering the vehicle and taking the power tools.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
