Man blocks roadway during dispute in Columbia

COLUMBIA, PA — A Columbia man was arrested after blocking a roadway for more than two traffic light cycles to yell obscenities at another driver.

Robert B. Thompson V, 48, of Columbia, was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of highway.

The incident occurred July 9 at approximately 4:45 p.m. in the area of Fifth and Locust Streets.

An officer with the Columbia Borough Police Department filed charges.

Thompson is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
