VERNON, NY — A Syracuse man was arrested July 13 following a stolen vehicle complaint that originated from the city of Oneida.
Deputies were dispatched around 5:04 p.m. to the area of Foodland at 5343 E Seneca St. for a report of a stolen vehicle that was pinging in the area.
Deputies located the stolen vehicle and subsequently found Mitchell Roehm, 30, of Syracuse, in possession of the vehicle.
Roehm was transported to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Building where he was booked and processed for one count of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a Class E felony.
Roehm was then escorted to CAP Court where he was released.
He is due back in Vernon Town Court at a later date.
