WORCESTER, MA — Vice detectives arrested a man on drug trafficking charges July 13 after executing two search warrants.
Luis Pizarro-Ayala, 44, of Worcester, was the target of warrants for a Honda CRV and a residence on Shannon Street.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., detectives observed Ayala arrive at Shannon Street in the Honda.
Detectives approached the vehicle and detained Ayala as he was exiting the driver’s seat.
Other detectives, along with Worcester K-9 and Worcester EOP officers, approached the target address.
Detectives entered the apartment after knocking and announcing and receiving no response.
Three adult females and one adult male were encountered inside the dwelling.
All were shown the search warrant and read their Miranda Rights.
After a thorough search of the apartment, detectives located approximately 43 grams of cocaine, two bags of fentanyl, $7,000 and drug paraphernalia.
A search of the Honda revealed 5 grams of fentanyl and 2 grams of crack cocaine hidden in the driver’s side door compartment.
Ayala is being charged with trafficking cocaine 36-99 grams and possession class A fentanyl with intent to distribute.
The Vice Squad was assisted by Framingham Police Department Narcotics K-9 with the search warrants.
