DANVILLE, NH — Two people were hospitalized this morning after a road rage dispute ended in a violent rollover crash on Route 111.
At approximately 8 a.m., Rockingham Dispatch received a 911 call reporting aggressive driving and a major accident.
Emergency crews arrived quickly to find one of the vehicles involved flipped upside down.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the drivers were engaged in a dangerous dispute while driving on Route 111.
The confrontation culminated when one of the vehicles lost control and slid off the roadway and rolled over multiple times before coming to a rest.
The second vehicle fled the scene.
The two occupants of the rollover vehicle were able to self-extricate and were transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation and police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or captured dashcam footage of the erratic driving prior to the rollover to call the Danville Police Department at 603-382-9403.
Kingston and Fremont Police assisted with traffic at the scene.
