WARRINGTON, PA — A 53-year-old woman was arrested after police say she intentionally skip-scanned items at a Walmart self-checkout.

Loss prevention personnel reported the incident to Warrington Police on July 3.

Felicia Antionette Bethune, of Philadelphia, is accused of scanning only a portion of her merchandise before leaving the store without paying for $96.50 worth of items, according to police.

She was taken into custody without incident, transported to the station, processed and released.

Bethune faces a charge of retail theft.

Criminal charges are merely allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
