WARRINGTON, PA — A 23-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly walking out of a Walmart with unpaid merchandise.
Samantha Friedman of Chalfont selected $81.30 worth of items and went to a self-checkout register on July 5.
She scanned the merchandise and appeared to attempt payment by scanning a QR code, but left the register before the transaction was completed, police said.
Friedman then exited the store without paying.
She was taken into custody by Warrington Police and transported to the station for processing before being released.
Friedman is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
