Man arrested on strangulation charge in Greene

GREENE, NY — A man was arrested July 3 following an investigation into a domestic incident.

Deputies responded to a report of a dispute at a residence in the town.

Ross I. Scribner, 35, of Greene, allegedly strangled the victim after an argument, authorities said.

Scribner was charged with second-degree strangulation.

He was arraigned in CAP Court and held at the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $2,000 cash bail.

Scribner is scheduled to appear in Town of Greene Court at a later date.
