MERIDEN, CT — A man was arrested on a robbery charge in Meriden.
Justice Roman, of Waterbury, was taken into custody by Waterbury police.
He also had a rearrest warrant for failure to appear in the first degree with a $300,000 bond.
In the incident he failed to appear on, Roman was charged with assault in the first degree in a shooting case.
Roman is a convicted felon, making him ineligible to possess a firearm.
He is also suspected of being involved in active firearms-related incidents.
Police said Roman’s apprehension and subsequent warrant service will help keep the community safer.
