WORCESTER, MA — Vice detectives arrested a man on drug trafficking and firearms charges after executing two search warrants July 8.
Davial Kirkpatrick, 45, of Worcester, was taken into custody at about 7:10 a.m. after he attempted to flee on Grafton Street.
Detectives obtained warrants for “The Spot” restaurant at 314 Grafton Street and an adjacent apartment on Cutler Street following a lengthy investigation into crack cocaine distribution.
Officers found about 350 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of fentanyl, digital scales, large amounts of currency and drug processing material in the restaurant’s rear office.
In Kirkpatrick’s bedroom on Cutler Street, detectives located an AR-15 style rifle, an AR-15 style pistol, three large capacity 30-round magazines loaded with ammunition and a large amount of currency.
Kirkpatrick does not possess a license to carry firearms.
Approximately $65,000 was seized from the apartment and business.
Kirkpatrick has been charged with trafficking more than 200 grams of cocaine and several firearms charges.
