CHAZY, NY — A 42-year-old man was arrested on a criminal contempt charge following an investigation into an incident in the town.
Matthew Hebert, of Champlain, was taken into custody at 3:13 p.m. June 19.
Hebert is accused of violating conditions of a court-issued order of protection.
He was processed at the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and arraigned at the Town of Champlain Court.
Hebert was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Chazy Court at a later date.
