PERU, NY — A traffic stop early Sunday led to the arrest of a Plattsburgh woman on drug and evidence tampering charges.
Heather Battige, 42, of Plattsburgh, was taken into custody at 1:22 a.m. by Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies.
Battige is charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and tampering with physical evidence, a felony.
She was processed and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Peru Court at a later date.
