WARE, MA — Ware police executed a search warrant Monday at an apartment on Cherry Street.
Officers arrested Jason Ramirez, 39, of Ware, on an active narcotics warrant out of Holyoke District Court.
Police also arrested Tykwon Rashad Blunt, 37, of Hartford, Connecticut, inside the apartment.
Blunt was wanted in connection with a domestic assault and battery incident Friday where a firearm was discharged inside an apartment on Otis Ave.
He was also wanted in Connecticut on escape charges after leaving a work-release program.
Blunt was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery domestic, carrying a firearm without a license, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building and fugitive from justice.
He was held on $250,000 bail.
Ramirez was held without bail.
Both men are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown.
