BARNET, VT — Two people were arrested on drug charges following a search warrant execution at a residence on Wild Leek Road.
Ashley Williams, 31, of St. Johnsbury, was found outside the residence and was in possession of a trafficking weight of a substance that tested positive for fentanyl, police said.
Osvaldo Andino Rodriguez, 43, of Meriden, Connecticut, was found inside the residence, police said.
Approximately 115 grams of a substance that field tested positive for cocaine base and over $47,000 in currency were seized, police said.
Williams was charged with trafficking of fentanyl, possession of a depressant, stimulant or narcotic drug over 1,000 times the dosage, and violation of conditions of release, police said.
Rodriguez was charged with possession and sale of cocaine over 1 ounce, police said.
Williams was held at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or surety, police said.

The Lyndonville Police Department was assisted by the Essex and Caledonia County Sheriff’s Department, CALEX EMS and the Vermont State Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, police said.
