Man arrested on DUI charge in Warwick

WARWICK, RI — A 58-year-old Rhode Island man was arrested on a second-offense drunken driving charge Saturday night after multiple calls reported an erratic driver.

Troopers arrested Adrian King, of Rhode Island, at 10:03 p.m. Saturday on East Avenue.

King was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs with a blood alcohol content of .15 or greater, second offense.

Police said King’s blood alcohol content registered 0.292 in the first phase of testing and 0.272 in the second phase.

King was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.

He was released with a notice to appear in Third District Court.

NEW SHOREHAM, RI — A Connecticut man was arrested early Sunday morning after troopers responded to multiple people fighting outside a residence.

Dilan Bozzuto, 23, of Branford, Connecticut, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. Sunday at 34 Ocean Avenue.

Bozzuto was charged with resisting legal or illegal arrest and disorderly conduct.

State police and New Shoreham police responded to the incident.

Bozzuto was transported to the New Shoreham Police Department, where he was processed and released on a misdemeanor summons with a notice to appear in Fourth District Court.
