BOSTON, MA — One person is dead and three others injured following a shooting early Sunday in Roxbury.
An officer assigned to District B-2 observed a person suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of 500 Blue Hill Avenue at approximately 12:36 a.m. July 5, 2026.
Officers then located three victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the area of 500 Blue Hill Avenue.
All three were treated and transported by Boston EMS to local hospitals.
One victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The other two victims’ injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
A fourth victim self-applied to a local hospital suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and is expected to survive.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
