HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Westland Street.
Hartford Police officers responded to the area of 185 Westland Street following a ShotSpotter notification.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim of gunfire.
The victim, a male in his thirties, was alert and conscious at the scene and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and have assumed the investigation.
