Woman arrested on DWI charge in Clifton Park

CLIFTON PARK, NY — A Massachusetts woman was arrested on a drunken driving charge after state police found her disabled vehicle on Interstate 87 early June 24, 2026.

Casey M. Poplaski, 29, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, was taken into custody at about 2:02 a.m. while troopers from the Clifton Park barracks were on patrol on the Northway.

Poplaski was transported to the state police barracks in Clifton Park for processing, where she recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.19 percent.

She was issued tickets returnable to Clifton Park Town Court on July 29, 2026, and released to a sober third party.

BALLSTON, NY — A Mechanicville man was arrested on drunken driving and other charges after his pickup truck struck a rock while hauling construction equipment June 25, 2026.

State police from the Saratoga barracks responded to State Route 67 at about 5:23 p.m. for a report of the crash outside a business.

The driver, Darin Dinallo, 49, of Mechanicville, was not injured.

Dinallo was arrested for driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree and other vehicle and traffic law violations.

He was transported to the state police barracks in Saratoga for processing, where he refused to provide a sample to determine the alcohol content of his blood.

Police said Dinallo has had multiple previous DWI convictions in the last 10 years and his driver’s license had been revoked.

Dinallo was arraigned at Malta Town Court, where he was remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility without bail.

ALBANY, NY — A Massachusetts man was arrested on a drunken driving charge after being stopped on Interstate 90 for a traffic violation June 26, 2026.

William J. Kicher, 60, of Douglas, Massachusetts, was pulled over by state police assigned to the Latham Interstate Patrol at about 2:38 p.m.

Kicher was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law violations.

He was transported to the state police barracks in Latham for processing, where he recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.28 percent.

Kicher was issued tickets returnable to Albany City Court on July 16, 2026, and released to a sober third party.
