Man arrested on larceny charge in Glens Falls

GLENS FALLS, NY — State Police arrested a 19-year-old man June 26, 2026, on felony charges after a stolen trailer was recovered during a traffic stop.

Issac G. Duguay, of Granville, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony, forgery of a vehicle identification number, a class E felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a class A misdemeanor.

Troopers received a report June 25, 2026, that a dump trailer had been stolen from a property on County Route 16 in Fort Ann the previous day.

The Glens Falls Police Department located the stolen trailer during a traffic stop in the area of Geer Street in Glens Falls.

The driver of the vehicle hauling the trailer was identified as Duguay.

Duguay allegedly stole the trailer and then damaged it by attempting to remove the vehicle identification number and other manufacturing stickers.

The trailer was seized and Duguay was arrested.

Passengers in the vehicle were released from the scene.

Duguay was transported to State Police barracks in Granville for processing, then transported to the Washington County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
